Minimalist Photographer of the Year 2026

It's wonderful to write such news, my dear followers! By decision of the Minimalist Photography Awards jury, I am the Photographer of the Year !!!
I'm so happy because I really appreciate this competition. My award-winning photos from the "Last Winter" series, which I took over two years in Rybnik, were selected from among 6,200 submitted works from 66 countries.
It's wonderful to read these words: "(...) The jury particularly appreciated Giba's originality of vision and the way he transforms a familiar natural landscape into something unexpected and deeply personal. The Last Winter demonstrates how minimalist photography can say more by showing less—leaving space for the viewer's imagination to complete the image."
